All registration and photograph records made under the provisions of this chapter shall be confidential, and shall be made available only to such persons or agencies as may be designated by the Attorney General.

Though the Immigration Board’s documents are confidential by statute, this statute may not be used to deny constitutionally guaranteed due-process rights, nor does it prohibit the court from ordering the Attorney General to produce these records when needed.
